The San Antonio Aztecs topped the Los Angeles Kings by a score of 5-4. Leading the way was second baseman Victor Rodriquez. Rodriquez went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs for the Aztecs. The win went to Sam Gerber in relief, making him now 3-1. Robert Windham took the loss for Los Angeles. Tim Ocampo closed it out for his 22nd save.

Danny Villarreal, who is tied for 9th in the AL in triples with 2, helped out the San Antonio cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder went 1-5.
