The Desert Storm grabbed a win, 4-3, at Kyiv Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Kyiv pitcher Vince Collins. Collins went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Josh Kern picked up his 1st save of the season. The win gives Arizona a record of 2-2.

Arizona used the timely hitting of Won-shik Im to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Desert Storm on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I was a little disappointed," said Kyiv manager Boris Lahutin. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
