Sugar Kings Rally For Late Win Over Knights
Getting offensive support from Matt Freese, the Havana Sugar Kings topped the Brooklyn Knights, 6-5. Freese was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Sugar Kings. Havana reliever Rick Licea got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Josh Deere was tagged with the loss. The win boosted Havana to 62-48.

Chris Burgos was 1 for 3 with a double and a walk for Havana. With two out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Burgos had a clutch at-bat. Facing Brooklyn hurler Mike Rodriguez, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run to give the Sugar Kings a 6-5 lead.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Burgos.
