Dublin 7-4 Losers to Blueberry Bulldogs

Sudbury and Dublin duked it out and the Blueberry Bulldogs came out victorious.
A 3-RBI performance from Steve Sanders, who is tied for 6th in the FL in triples with 2, helped the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs beat the Dublin Porters, 7-4. Sudbury is 60-52 and Dublin, with the loss, 51-61.
Had Dan Dirks not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, Dirks hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-4, in favor of the Blueberry Bulldogs.
"You need to show up when your number's called," said Dirks.
