The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs beat the Dublin Porters, 11-4, at Bulldogs Ballpark. Sudbury center fielder Jacob Jeffries had the hot bat. He was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The winning pitcher was fan favorite George Wilson. He tossed 108 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. Sudbury is now 61-52, Dublin 51-62.

The Porters had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Blueberry Bulldogs going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 26-year old right fielder Orlando Cuenca came to the plate. Cuenca hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch fastball from Dublin hurler Alberto Guillen. It was Cuenca's 10th home run of the year.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Dublin manager Hannah Porter.
