Hyenas 10-4 Winners Over Waikiki
The East Haddam Hyenas defeated the Waikiki Wayfinders, 10-4. Center Fielder Dave Bland deserved a large share of the credit. Bland was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Hyenas. The win puts East Haddam at 44-68.

East Haddam used a well-timed hit by Jeremy Plummer to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the first inning to put the Hyenas ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Plummer told the East Haddam Daily.
