The Desert Storm grabbed a win, 5-4, at Porters Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Dublin pitcher Ben Verville. Verville went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. Arizona pitcher Ivan Chavez got the win. He's now 10-5. Ben Verville was tagged with the loss. Andy Buhrke closed out the game, earning his 28th save.
Arizona went in front, 5-1, on Justin Trovato's 36th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Trovato hit in the top of the ninth, left Dublin pitcher Satoharu Sato visibly perturbed.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Trovato.
The second-place Desert Storm have won 7 in a row.
