Kings Get Thrilling 2-1 Win
|
Los Angeles starter Steve Wilkerson pitched well against the Detroit Pizzas at Sportsman's Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 2-1, in 10 innings. Los Angeles is now 16-22, while Detroit is 27-12.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Los Angeles center fielder Jonathan Carter, facing Ed Pike, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Kings the 2-1 win.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Carter said after the game.
