The Lansing Red Storm picked up a win at Ballpark of Atlanta, downing the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 4-1. On the mound for Lansing was left-hander Richard Arocha, who played a pivotal role in the win. Jeff Pledger earned the save for Lansing, his 1st. With the loss, Sudbury sinks to 3-1.

Kiyotake Yoshihara, who finished 4th in the FL in extra base hits with 77 in 2044, came through for Lansing with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fifth. The designated hitter went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
