The Lansing Red Storm and Arizona Desert Storm completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Lansing Red Storm topped the Arizona Desert Storm, 4-1, in Federation League action at Ballpark of Atlanta. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lansing pitcher Manny Baez. Jeff Pledger closed the door for Lansing, picking up his 9th save of the year.

Carlos Jimenez had a big 2-run home run for the Red Storm in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Lansing leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from Ronaldo Sardinha, who is tied for 7th in the FL in quality starts with 6, and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Red Storm ahead, 4-1.

Lansing manager GM TDen said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

The third-place Red Storm own a record of 14-28.
