Takoyaki Take Home 2-0 Win Over St. Louis
|
Justin Donahue was nothing short of phenomenal for the Osaka Takoyaki. The 37-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the St. Louis Archies, 2-0. The winner was Donahue. He threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Nate Edmondson. Cameron Elson earned save number 1 this season.
Mark Radford, who is a two-time All-Star, chipped in a solo home run for Osaka in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI.
"A great team win and something real positive we can build on," said Radford after the game.
The first-place Archies now sit at 74-39.
