Kyiv Beats Yellowstone in 10-Inning Thriller
The Kyiv Cossacks beat the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 7-5, in 10 innings at Volcano Ballpark. Kyiv first baseman Chris Nicotra had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Kurat Feyzioglu picked up the save for Kyiv, his 29th of the year. The defeat makes Yellowstone 59-54.

Nicotra had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 2-0 fastball from Billy Sweeney, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Cossacks a 7-5 lead. It was the 31st home run of the year for Nicotra.

"It was terrific getting this win," Nicotra said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
