In a low-scoring contest between the Detroit Pizzas and the Lansing Red Storm, Mark Foglesong, who finished 3rd in the AL in strikeouts with 221 in 2035, proved to be the difference. The Detroit right-hander earned props for his performance in the 2-0 Pizzas win. Earning the save was Jose Giminez. He's now cashed in 30 of 33 save opportunities. Detroit now has a record of 62-53 with the win.

Foglesong allowed no runs over 8 innings. He also racked up 8 strikeouts.
