Starting pitcher Nick Rennie was a major factor in the 4-2 Hanoi Dragon Warriors triumph over the Dublin Porters. Rennie, the winner, moves to 11-9. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 1 walk. Noah Powell picked up the save for Hanoi, his 25th of the year.
Scot Shearing, who finished 3rd in the AL in triples with 7 in 2046, helped out the Hanoi cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 4.
"From the first pitch, Nick was ready to rock and roll," said Hanoi manager GM Schnee.
