Brooklyn Nets 3-2 Win Versus Wayfinders
|
The Brooklyn Knights earned a close win over the Waikiki Wayfinders, thanks in part to Kevin Feltes. The Brooklyn right-hander, who finished 2nd in the AL in strikeouts with 270 in 2044, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Tanner Denny snagged the win in relief. He goes to 11-2 on the season. Tim Pettit suffered the loss. Brooklyn, at 69-51, sits in second place in the Alliance League Boneheads Division.
Brooklyn got a knockout punch from Danny White. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We've got great fans," said Feltes. "I hope they got what they came for."
