The Pittsburgh Yinzers topped the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 4-2, in Alliance League action at PNC Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Pittsburgh pitcher Jason Scothorn. Bob Currell picked up the save, his 16th. The second-place Blueberry Bulldogs have dropped 4 straight games.

Oscar Hernandez cracked a home run off Josh Deere in the bottom of the fifth. His 2-run blast put the Yinzers on top, 4-2. In all, Hernandez had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Hernandez said after the game.
