Pizzas Lose Late to Buffalo
The Buffalo Buffalo picked up a win at The Greenhouse, dropping the Detroit Pizzas, 5-2. Danny Staley, who is tied for 10th in the AL with a 1.22 WHIP, was the difference-maker. Buffalo has a record of 22-27, placing them last in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.

Rey Pina's at-bat in the bottom of the eighth was significant, coming with a runner on 2nd and the game tied, 2-2. The Buffalo shortstop hit a run-scoring single off Jose Bautista to put the Buffalo up.

"We're all about heart and hustle on this team. That's what wins ballgames," Staley told the Buffalo Observer.
