Super Volcano Waste Great Game from Jaquez
Despite a great performance by Yellowstone second baseman Andres Jaquez, the Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the Super Volcano by the score of 6-3 at Volcano Ballpark. Jaquez slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Dan Bass picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Jack Frick, who is tied for 8th in the AL in strikeouts with 69, was tagged with the loss. Noah Powell, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 16th save.

Hanoi left fielder Ronnie Viverette delivered a 2-run single in the top of the seventh. Overall, he went 3 for 5, including 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Hanoi manager GM Schnee.

The win lifted the Hanoi record to 31-18.
