Riding the 4-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Scot Shearing, the Hanoi Dragon Warriors stopped the Buffalo Buffalo, 12-2. Steve Schultze earned the win for Hanoi. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 6-2. Hanoi is now 30-19, 5 games up in the Alliance League Boneheads Division.

Shearing contributed a big hit, a bases-clearing double, for Hanoi in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Shearing took a changeup from Adam Moore and stroked the double to left. His 8th double of the season allowed the Dragon Warriors to leap in front, 3-1.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Shearing told the Hanoi Daily.
