Arizona catcher Luke Binkley picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Memphis Chicks, 6-5. Arizona reliever Esteban Vega was the winner. His record is now 2-1. Mike Robinson took the loss. Terry Donohue earned the save for Arizona, his 17th.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Bill Horning? The 29-year old third baseman Horning stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put Arizona up, 6-5. For the game, he was 2 for 2, including 1 double and 1 single.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Arizona manager GM Fetty.

The third-place Chicks now sit at 21-28.
