The Lansing Red Storm got a stellar performance from pitcher Vicente Tejeda, who handcuffed the Kyiv offense en route to a win, 2-1, at Ballpark of Atlanta. Tejeda picked up the win for Lansing, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 5-5. Jeff Pledger closed the game out for Lansing, earning his 7th save.

Tyler Farrell drew 1 walk for Lansing. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Vince Collins. It was his 9th walk of the season.
