Aztecs Deal Hanoi 3-2 Defeat

The San Antonio Aztecs picked up a win at The Nest, topping the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, 3-2. On the mound for San Antonio was left-hander Jack Frick. He played a principal role in the triumph. The winner was Frick. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Tony Ramos. Art Madsen closed the door for San Antonio, picking up his 12th save of the year.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Kinya Shiraishi? The 32-year old shortstop Shiraishi stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put San Antonio up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Shiraishi told a San Antonio Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
