Yount Goes on Rampage Against Rhavioli
Joe Yount exploded for a barrage of base hits at Banner Island Ballpark.

The Colorado Springs center fielder had a field day in his team's 11-10 triumph over the Rhome Rhavioli, finishing 6-for-6.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Yount must have focused at least 6 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Joe Yount singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Alex Sosa in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

This season in 20 games, Yount is batting .422 with 4 home runs, 24 RBIs and has scored 18 times.
