Blueberry Bulldogs Pull Out Late-Game Win, 4-3
Lansing wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Alex Martinez, falling to the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 4-3. Martinez threw 8.0 innings of 6-hit ball for the losing team. Luis Espinoza, credited with the win in relief, is now 4-7. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. At 67-55, the Blueberry Bulldogs are currently second in the Federation League Birdbrains Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Hugo Cabrera in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off former first round draft pick Cameron Elson to win the game for Sudbury. The home crowd went nuts.

"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Blueberry Bulldogs manager Lord Parquad.
