Pittsburgh first baseman Danny Gutierrez made his presence felt in the 7-6 Yinzers triumph over the Los Angeles Kings. Gutierrez went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The win puts Pittsburgh at 22-32.

The decisive blow was delivered by Wayne Wilbur in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Robert Windham to win the game for Pittsburgh. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Wilbur.
