Osaka and Sudbury duked it out and the Takoyaki came out victorious.

The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs got a sterling performance from designated hitter Josh Freeland, but the Osaka Takoyaki still prevailed, 5-3. Freeland threw 7.1 innings of 2-hit ball. Osaka is now 67-61, while Sudbury is 69-59.

Juan Redondo came through with a big-time hit for Osaka. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Redondo.
