Dragon Warriors Defeat Kings, 14-11
Xavier Blair did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Los Angeles Kings from being beaten, 14-11, to the Hanoi Dragon Warriors at Sportsman's Park. Blair was 4-6 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Noah Powell earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 4 hits in 3 innings. He upped his record to 4-3. The defeat makes Los Angeles 48-80.

The Dragon Warriors beat the Kings in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Jamie Williams produced in the top of the 11th. Batting against Jeremy Valentine, Williams gave his team the lead, 11-10, when he hit a run-scoring single.

Los Angeles manager Jim KP said he was disappointed with the loss. "Whenever you score in double digits, you expect to win the game."
