Cossacks Dealt 8-5 Loss by Dublin
|
The inspired effort of Kyiv second baseman Noah Abitia was not enough to prevent a loss, 8-5, to the Dublin Porters. Abitia hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The victory gives the Porters a record of 68-61.
Dublin took the lead, 6-5, on Victor Ruiz's 20th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Kyiv pitcher Cody Harbaugh in the bottom of the seventh.
"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Dublin manager Jim DG.
