DePue Deals Portland 3-1 Setback
The Buffalo Buffalo used a great performance from Glenn DePue, who finished 5th in the AL in strikeouts with 242 in 2048, to beat the Portland Beavers, 3-1, at The Greenhouse. The setback makes Portland 57-73.

DePue ran roughshod over the Portland lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 9-7 on the season.

"Glenn was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae.
