The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs weathered a fine game by Buffalo third baseman Aaron Brooks to upend the Buffalo, 7-4, at Bulldogs Ballpark. Brooks went 4-4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. Sudbury is 74-58 and Buffalo, with the loss, 67-67.

Steve Sanders had a big 2-run double for the Blueberry Bulldogs in the bottom of the first inning. With Sudbury leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Roberto Morales, who signed a 3-year contract worth $23,000,000 on 02/13/2052, and swatted a double to center. It was his 16th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 4-1.

In postgame comments to the Sudbury Bulletin, Sanders said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
