Chicks Fall Short at Hanoi, 7-6
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors turned back the Memphis Chicks, 7-6, at The Nest. Josh Sunday, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs. Noah Powell closed the door for Hanoi, picking up his 17th save of the year. The Dragon Warriors now own a record of 32-23.

An inflection point occurred with no one out in the bottom of the eighth. That's when Dragon Warriors catcher Jason Edkin hit a fastball from Matt Schille for a 2-run single. Just like that, Hanoi was up, 7-6.

"I was making good contact tonight," said Sunday.
