Richard Arocha was masterful in helping the Waikiki Wayfinders take down the Kyiv Cossacks, 3-0. The winner was Arocha. He threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The loser was Billy Roland. Chad Telfer, credited with the save, is now 1 for 5 in save opportunities.

John Jones, who is tied for 10th in the FL in home runs with 23, had a direct impact on the outcome. Jones contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Waikiki up, 2-0.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Arocha said.

The Wayfinders improved their record to 50-86 by beating Kyiv.
