The Dublin Porters faced a tough opponent in Portland pitcher Paolo Ferrari, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Beavers Park by a final score of 5-4. Ferrari went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Dublin reliever Matt Gunnison picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Chris Duffy absorbed the loss. The Porters now have a record of 28-26 with the win over Portland.
Ben Crepps was 1-3 for Dublin. In the top of the second, with the teams deadlocked, 0-0, Crepps delivered for the Porters. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Dublin on top, 1-0.
