Getting an impressive start from Danny Dudley, Sudbury beat Arizona by the score of 4-2. The winner was Dudley. He threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The loser was Kevin Spencer. Eric Barone collected save number 31.

The Desert Storm had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Blueberry Bulldogs going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old right fielder Orlando Cuenca came to the plate. Cuenca hit a solo home run on a first pitch changeup from Arizona hurler Kevin Spencer. It was Cuenca's 10th home run of the year.

"We take it day by day here," said Cuenca, "and today was a good one for us."

Sudbury now has a record of 74-70 with the win.
