St. Louis Shut Out, 5-0, By Porters, Pittman
|
Andy Pittman was dynamite at Team2 Ballpark, blowing away the St. Louis Archies in a shutout victory. The Dublin Porters starter had everything working as he held the Archies to 4 hits in the 5-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said St. Louis skipper Terry Schneekloth. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Pittman finished the game with 7 strikeouts and 1 walk.
To date this season, Pittman has a record of 11 wins and 11 losses and a 4.22 ERA. He has appeared in 30 games and struck out 192 in 198.1 innings.
