Sudbury Loses, 10-9, Despite Rojas Exploits
Fans watched the Arizona Desert Storm and the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs fight to the finish.

Sudbury catcher Nick Rojas pounded Arizona Desert Storm pitchers at Desert Storm Stadium, but it was not enough to keep the Blueberry Bulldogs from falling, 10-9. Rojas went 3-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Andy Buhrke was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 37 of 39 save opportunities.

Early in the game, first baseman Justin Trovato had a 3-run home run for Arizona. It was his 25th home run of the season and put the Desert Storm on top, 5-4.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Trovato. "You've got to get results."

Arizona now sits at 76-72, while Sudbury falls to 82-66.
