The Detroit Pizzas topped the Los Angeles Kings, 7-6, in Alliance League action at Pizzas Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Detroit pitcher Brad Riddick. Detroit reliever Kevin Nash picked up the win to move to 4-1. Joey Frank suffered the loss. Josh Cooper collected save number 20.

Detroit took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Jeremy Collins hit a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Pizzas.

"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Collins. "I just want to win ballgames."

This win makes it 5 in a row for Detroit.
