|
Getting a good performance from first baseman Ed Putty, the Brooklyn Knights defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 8-4. Putty went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Knights. The winning pitcher was Alejandro Rodriguez. His record now stands at 6-6. The left-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits for the Knights. The Knights lead the Alliance League Boneheads Division by 7 games.
