Los Angeles Loses, 5-3, to San Antonio in 10
The San Antonio Aztecs sent the home crowd home ecstatic.

Due in part to center fielder Danny Villarreal, the San Antonio Aztecs chopped down the Los Angeles Kings, 5-3, in 10 innings. Villarreal slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Art Madsen claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 4-6.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Villarreal hit a fastball from Jim Davis for a 2-run home run. The Aztecs, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Villarreal.

The defeat makes Los Angeles 77-80.
