The Wilmington Blue Rocks beat the Buffalo Buffalo, 10-7, at Beavers Park. Wilmington shortstop Aaron Jeffers had an outstanding performance. He went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Rodolfo Merlos, credited with the save, is now 36 for 46 in save opportunities. With the win over Buffalo, the Blue Rocks improved to 75-83.

Wilmington catcher Ziven Plyuskov contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a slider to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 3rd hit of the season and put the Blue Rocks ahead, 7-4.

"We've hit a rough patch right now," said Buffalo skipper Jim Punk42ae.
