Los Angeles Kings starter Chris Roberts pitched a strong game against the San Antonio Aztecs at Estadio Azteca, leading the Kings to victory, 6-5. The winner was Roberts. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was John Griese. Jim Davis earned his 40th save in 44 chances.
