Though he had a stellar game, Joe Seelye could not prevent his team, the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, from losing, 8-3, to the Waikiki Wayfinders. Seelye went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The Wayfinders improved their record to 73-88 by beating Sudbury.
In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, Sudbury allowed the Wayfinders to go up, 4-3, on a Sudbury error.
Frazier told a Waikiki Gazette reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
