Brooklyn turned a good performance from starting pitcher Alejandro Rodriguez into a 2-1 triumph over the Havana Sugar Kings at Sugardome II. Picking up his 1st save was four-time All-Star Zion Anthony. The loss drops Havana to 3-4.

Jesse Wallace had a direct impact on the outcome. Wallace contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Brooklyn up, 1-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Wallace told the Brooklyn News.
