The Saskatchewan 92's got a good effort from starter John Potter in defeating the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs at Bulldogs Ballpark. The final score was 6-2. Potter, now 6-5, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 5, and allowing 2 runs. Henry Flores was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.

Chris Nicotra went 1-4 with a double for Saskatchewan. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Willie Sevilla. It was his 51st RBI of the season.

"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Nicotra.

With the victory, the 92's upped their record to 35-33.
