Galway Moves on to Round 3
The Galway Gales are riding high after winning the Round 2 and eliminating the Harrisburg Senators by a series score of 4-2.

The final blow came tonight at Gales Ballpark, when Galway secured its spot in the Round 3 with a 4-1 victory.

"It feels good to put them away because we really didn't want to let them crawl back into this series," said first baseman Esteban Lopez, who was named series MVP. "A team like that, you need to bury them when you get the chance."

Lopez certainly helped his team's cause, as he hit .375 with a .444 on-base percentage in the series. He also chipped in 3 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Galway Gales don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Baltimore Jaspers - Omaha Steaks series. Baltimore leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
