Irish Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire
The fans in LetterKenny are delirious, while there is little joy to be found in Philadelphia.

The LetterKenny Irish finished off the Philadelphia Avalanche 7-6 in the deciding game of the Round 2 played at Avalanche Ballpark.

They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the Round 3.

For his standout play, LetterKenny right fielder Ryan DiFranco was voted the series' Most Valuable Player.

He batted .379, drove in 5 runs and scored 4 to lead his club to victory.

"We could never really figure out how to pitch to DiFranco and that doomed us," said Avalanche manager Chad Cox. "Hats off to LetterKenny, though. That was a great series."

The LetterKenny Irish will play against the Portland Pickles in the next round. Portland won their series against the Ottawa Lynx 4 games to 3. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
