St. Louis Takes Divisional Series in Deciding Game
The joy and relief on the faces of the St. Louis Archies players was obvious as they celebrated their Divisional Series win over the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs.

"In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said St. Louis first baseman Brian Cifelli, shortly after the 4-1 win that clinched the series 3-2. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done."

The team is now off to the League Championship.

Cifelli won series MVP honors on the strength of his .353 batting average during the series. He also had a .476 on-base percentage and 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The St. Louis Archies will play against the Dublin Porters in the next round. Dublin won their series against the Arizona Desert Storm 3 games to 2. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
