Blueberry Bulldogs Dominate, Sweep Divisional Series
|
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs have cruised through the Divisional Series, easily sweeping away the Saskatchewan 92's by a count of 3-0.
The final blow came with a 5-3 triumph at Stadium 92, which sends Sudbury on to the League Championship.
"There's a lot of focus from our team right now, up and down that bench and in the clubhouse," said Josh Deere.
For the series, Deere had a 3.52 ERA over 7.2 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. He was named series MVP for his efforts.
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the East Haddam Hyenas - Dublin Porters series. Dublin leads the series 2 games to 0. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
