In a pivotal Game 5, the Dublin Porters were hoping for a big game from starter Juan Gonzalez. They got one.

The right-hander shut out the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, proving to be the difference-maker as he led his club to a 2-0 victory. The Porters took the 2-0 win over the Hanoi Dragon Warriors to seize a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Peter Thompson, who finished 5th in the FL in hits with 182 in 2046, had a direct impact on the outcome. Thompson contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Dublin up, 2-0.

"I like our moxie," said Porters manager Jim DG.

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, October 24th , 2046 at Porters Ballpark in Dublin.
