Wierzba, Dragon Warriors Take Dramatic Game 2 for 2-0 Series Lead
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors got a strong game from starter Aaron Wierzba, but it was some clutch hitting that ultimately delivered the win.

The Dragon Warriors took the 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Kings in Game 2 of the League Championship in a 12th inning walk-off. The win capped off a fine outing for the right-handed Wierzba. Wierzba threw 7.2 innings allowing 4 runs in the win, which gave the Dragon Warriors a 2-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Batting in the bottom of the 12th, two-time All-Star Scott Jennings had a real shot to win the game. Los Angeles pitcher Eric Barone was determined not to let it happen. But with one out, Jennings hit a run-scoring single. The Dragon Warriors had a walk-off triumph.

Jennings said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, October 12th , 2052 at Sportsman's Park in Los Angeles.
