St. Louis shortstop Alex Pimentel made his presence felt in the 9-3 Archies triumph over the Waikiki Wayfinders. Pimentel went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Dave Nevarez, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 3 innings. The win brings the Archies to 7-3, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Alex Garcia's at-bat in the bottom of the sixth was significant, coming with runners on 1st and 2nd and the game tied, 3-3. The St. Louis second baseman hit a run-scoring single off Joe Johnson to put the Archies up.

"The fans pay the tickets and help us do what we do, so we like to put on a show for them," Garcia told the St. Louis News.
